Our French Architectural tours operate in Paris. We aim to add more cities soon such as Lyon and Marseilles.

Paris Architectural Tours
Paris, the capital of France, is famous for buildings such as The Louvre, the Eiffel Tower and the Centre Pompidou. Although the scale of the city centre mostly retains its historic density and height there are a number of major contemporary buildings in the city. These buildings can be visited on our French Architecture Tours. The cluster at La Défense – the Parisian business district – includes many late 20th century towers.

Major historic Parisian buildings include The Pantheon, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Opera House and Sacre Coeur. Major contemporary Parisian buildings include Arab du Monde lnstitute, The Louvre Museum Pyramid and Parc de la Villette. For visits to some of these more outlying buildings in the French capital public/private transport is necessary.
Celebrated architects with buildings in Paris include Frank Gehry, Jean Nouvel, I.M. Pei, Richard Rogers, Renzo Piano, Richard Meier and Tadao Ando.

French Walking Tours
French Architecture Tours can focus on contemporary or older buildings or both. Typically a tour will last a few hours and cover the most celebrated buildings in the city.
However some tours can last longer – even for a few days – and can focus on certain building typologies. Our guides can also take groups to specific areas, such as new residnetial developments or La Defense to see the cluster of skyscraper buildings.
