Barcelona is the principal city in Catalonia. Our walking tours typically will include key buildings by Antoni Gaudi – such as Casa Mila – and key architecture of the recent decades, such as the Barcelona Pavilion by architect Mies van der Rohe.
Famous architects with work in the city include Frank Gehry, Herzog & De Meuron, Enric Miralles, Toyo Ito, Foster + Partners and Richard Rogers.
Madrid Architectural Walking Tour – Building Tours in central Spain

Major historic architecture includes the Royal Palace of Madrid, the Prado Museum, Palacio de Aranjuez, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and the Royal Theater.
Significant recent buildings include the Barajas Airport, Caixa Forum, Mirador Sanchinarro, Carabanchel 16 – housing. Celebrated architects who have built in the Spanish capital include Herzog de Meuron, Richard Rogers Partnership, MVRDV and Foreign Office Architects.

Bilbao is located in the north east Spain, close to France. The city is capital of Biscay. Trips can also visit Barcelona which is in the east of Spain. There is plenty of contemporary architecture to see – principally the world-famous Guggenheim Museum by architect Frank Gehry but also other buildings such as recent metro stations.

Granada is a city and the capital of the province of Granada, in Andalusia, south west Spain – a good base to discover cities such as Cordoba and Seville. Although this region is world-famous for historical architecture there are also some contemporary gems such as the Seville Plaza by the German architects J Mayer H.
Tenerife Architecture Walking Tours – Building Tours in the Canary Islands

Tenerife is the principal settlement in the Canary Islands. Key new buildings on the islands include the Palacio de Congresos in Lanzarote and the New Link Quay in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Famous architects to have buildings designed in this spanish island include Herzog & de Meuron Architects and Henning Larsen Architects.

Spanish Architecture Tours can focus on contemporary buildings or traditional buildings or a mixture of both. e-architect can assist with your programme preparation ahead of your Spanish walking tour.
A group of architects interested in say Spanish office buildings or interiors could be provided with information allowing a unique walking tour programme to be agreed prior to their visit to Spain.
Visitors can be met from the airport, their accommodation, or at the starting point of their Spanish walking tour.
